Terms of Use
The rules that apply when you use this website, and the terms that govern work we do together.
Acceptance of These Terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published here is the one that applies.
Use of This Website
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. In particular, you agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system.
- Introduce malicious code, or attempt to interfere with the site’s normal operation.
- Scrape, harvest or copy content at scale without our written permission.
- Use the site in a way that damages our reputation or misrepresents your relationship with us.
Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos and the Links Boots name and marks, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law.
You may read, print and share pages for your own reference. You may not republish, sell or redistribute our content commercially without written permission.
Client Work and Deliverables
Work commissioned from us is governed by the proposal and agreement signed for that engagement. Where those documents conflict with these terms, the signed agreement takes precedence.
On full payment, ownership of bespoke deliverables produced for you, including written content and campaign assets, transfers to you. Our own methods, templates and internal tooling remain ours.
No Guarantee of Results
Search rankings, coverage and advertising performance depend on factors outside our control, including search engine algorithms, competitor activity and editorial decisions by third-party publishers.
We commit to the work described in your agreement, to the standards described on this site, and to honest reporting. We do not guarantee specific rankings, placements or revenue outcomes, and we would treat any agency that did so as a warning sign.
Fees and Payment
Fees, payment schedules and notice periods are set out in your individual agreement. Unless stated otherwise, invoices are payable within fourteen days of issue. We may suspend work on overdue accounts after written notice.
Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other’s confidential information private and use it only for the purposes of the engagement. This obligation continues after the engagement ends.
We will not name you as a client publicly without your permission.
Third-Party Links
This site may link to third-party websites. Those links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any external site.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, arising from use of this website.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
Either party may end an engagement in line with the notice period in the signed agreement. On termination we hand over completed work, transfer any accounts we hold on your behalf, and invoice for work delivered up to that point.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
